Start with geometry and handling requirements
The brochure lists JL-450, JL-730 and JL-1100 at thicknesses of 0.85 ± 0.10, 1.1 ± 0.10 and 1.7 ± 0.10 mm, respectively. Their masses per unit area are 480 ± 20, 730 ± 20 and 1100 ± 100 g/m². Effective width is ≤ 2500 mm for all three; sheet length is ≤ 2500 mm for JL-450 and ≤ 2000 mm for the other two models.
Published warp and weft tensile force thresholds are ≥ 1500, ≥ 1800 and ≥ 2500 N/5 cm, respectively. These figures provide a basis for discussing cutting and assembly requirements.
Compare functional properties on the stated basis
In the same model order, gas tightness thresholds are ≥ 550, ≥ 600 and ≥ 400 mmH₂O. Water absorption time is ≤ 10 seconds for each model. Area resistance at 60 °C is listed as ≤ 0.18, ≤ 0.25 and ≤ 0.8 Ω·cm².
The specification table on page 9 does not explicitly give the KOH concentration. A separate comparison on page 10 reports JL-450 area resistance of 0.15 Ω·cm² at 60 °C in 30 wt% KOH. That condition belongs to the comparison data and should not automatically be assigned to the model specification table.
Confirm the exact model before qualification
The sample photographs include JL-730-1.2, while the specification table names JL-730. Confirm the exact designation and applicable technical document rather than treating these labels as interchangeable.
Use the published values as manufacturer specifications for an initial comparison. Final selection should follow model-specific documentation and agreed test and delivery requirements; these figures do not independently validate performance in a particular electrolyzer.
